IKEA and Facebook
In this video, a marketing bureau explains their use of social media as a new IKEA department store opened. IKEA has been in the forefront of using social media for marketing purposes and even has been behind a number of campaigns conducted by new and innovative marketing agencies. The CEO, owner and founder of IKEA, Ingvar Kamprad is a great supporter of social media and has his own facebook and twitter account (despite being over 80 years of age)where customers can discuss IKEA products and policies with him.
